Why are so many people looking for a 22 inch LCD TV?

You would think in this era of giant screen and home theaters that the smaller models would have gone by the way of the Rubik’s cube.  Yet the 22 inch LCD television is one of the hottest selling products in the electronics world.  There are several reasons why.

First, size matters.  If you have ever attempted to watch a screen smaller than a 22 inch, you may have had to run for you bifocals.  In other words, it takes the enjoyment out of watching television when you have to squint to see what is happening.  However, the 22 inch is just big enough for most people to see clearly.

Secondly, it is all about the space.  Larger LCD HDTV’s will require a lot of room and often don’t fit comfortably in the space you desire to put it.  The smaller television is also much easier to mount and again it can be in a much more confined space.

Thirdly, they require much less of your hard earned money.  In this day of tough economic times, saving money is always a priority and a 22 inch LCD TV can be had for under $500 and can creep as low as $350.  Larger televisions can run into the thousands.

Lastly, the features that come with smaller televisions can be as good as the larger ones. These can include HDTV, progressive scan support, a 3:2 pull down feature, Picture in Picture (PIP), and the 3D Y/C Digital Comb Filter.

If you are on a tight budget or have a small space, then checking out the 22 inch LCD TV should be a priority.
